TimeQeeper
AI features

AI for maintenance that does the reading. You stay in charge.

TimeQeeper reads contractor reports, manuals and drawings, recognises parts in a photo and answers questions about your own data. A proposal shows what it is based on and only becomes work once you accept it.

Eight AI features

AI in the work you already do.

No separate AI tool on the side: the AI sits in the modules you already work in, from maintenance and reliability to documents and the warehouse.

  • Maintenance

    Action points from contractor reports

AI reads a service or inspection report and proposes action points, each with severity, type, page and the verbatim quote. Findings that came up before are flagged.

    Go to Maintenance
  • Maintenance

    Maintenance plan from the manual

AI proposes the periodic tasks from the manufacturer's manual, with interval, materials and safety notes, each with the page it comes from.

    Go to Maintenance
  • Reliability

Failure modes and strategy in FMECA

AI proposes failure modes per function, with cause and effects, and a maintenance strategy per failure mode with a rationale following RCM decision logic.

    Go to Reliability
  • Document management

    Search by meaning

Ask Buddy what your drawings, manuals and reports say, even when you do not know the exact words. You get the document, the page and a verbatim fragment.

    Go to Document management
  • Document management

    Scans you can search

Text recognition reads scanned pages on our own servers. If a page stays unreadable, AI can read it as an image, if that option is switched on.

    Go to Document management
  • Document management

    Document type and title block

TimeQeeper proposes the document type and the title block of a drawing. Where the fixed rules are inconclusive, AI takes a look. You decide whether to accept the proposal.

    Go to Document management
  • Warehouse

    Search by photo

Photograph a part and see which items it could be. Image recognition, text recognition and barcodes work together, and recognition learns from the matches you confirm. The feature is still in beta and also works in TimeQeeper Pocket.

    Go to Warehouse
  • Platform

    Buddy, the assistant

Ask a question about your assets, work orders, stock or documents. Buddy answers briefly, with links to the records the answer rests on.

This is what it looks like in TimeQeeper.

Maintenance · Contractor reports

From report to action points, with the quote attached.

After an outage, the reports pile up. TimeQeeper reads them and proposes action points. You review them next to the document: accept, adjust or reject.

  • Every action point with page and verbatim quote
  • Recurring findings flagged
  • For each work order task: done, partly done or not found in the report
  • You turn an accepted point into a notification, or link it to existing work

Maintenance · Manuals

A maintenance plan from the manufacturer's manual.

Choose the manual and TimeQeeper proposes the periodic tasks, with interval and materials, next to the pages they come from. You tick what goes into the plan.

  • Tasks with interval, materials and safety notes
  • Source per task: page and quote
  • Compare the plan with the manual later on
  • The plan only starts once you activate it

How our AI works

Smart, and verifiable.

Four principles behind the AI features in TimeQeeper.

  • With a source or rationale

An action point shows the page and the quote, a plan task its place in the manual, an FMECA proposal its rationale and an answer from Buddy the records it rests on.

  • You decide

A proposal only becomes work once you accept it. A maintenance plan from a manual only starts once you activate it.

  • Within your permissions

The AI works with your organisation's modules and permissions. Buddy only sees what you are allowed to see.

  • Set per environment

AI for documents is on by default and your administrator can switch it off per environment. Buddy is off by default and we switch it on at your request.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about AI in TimeQeeper

Which AI features does TimeQeeper have?

Eight: action points from contractor reports, a maintenance plan from the manual, failure modes and strategy in FMECA, search by meaning, searchable scans, document type and title block, search by photo and the assistant Buddy.

Do I need to check what the AI proposes?

Yes, and that is how it is set up. A proposal comes with its source or a rationale, such as the page and the verbatim quote, and only becomes work once you accept it.

Where is our data processed?

Search by photo and text recognition run on our own servers. To read reports and manuals (and translate the proposal from a manual), for search by meaning, document type and title block, the FMECA suggestions and Buddy, text is processed by an external AI service. If image reading is switched on, pages that text recognition cannot read go to that service as images. Your data is stored within the EU.

Can we switch AI off?

Yes. AI for documents is on by default and your administrator can switch it off per environment; word search and code recognition keep working as before. Users request FMECA suggestions themselves, per function. Buddy is off by default and we switch it on at your request.

What can Buddy do?

Buddy answers questions about your own data: assets, work orders, notifications, stock, RFQs, shift logs, permits, planning and documents. It only reads, stays within your permissions and includes the sources in its answer.
